My house smells so good right now!
Yesterday cousin Michelle came over and we put up my very first Christmas tree in this house. It's a 9 foot fir that smells delicious! And combined with the cinnamon candles, it's like Christmas in your nose in here. Trust me, that's a good thing and not as disgusting as it sounds...
And what would decorating be without chai tea and boeter koeken? (Thanks Katie!)

Very nice - can you send some of the piney smell this way. It was 85 in the house yesterday when I put up our tree ---it didn't put me in much of a Christmas spirit--however turning the lights on around the house last night helped.
